Schwägalp alpine cheese dairy

The Schwägalp alpine cheese dairy was built. It is organized as a cooperative of farmers who graze their cattle on the alps in summer. During the summer months, around 60 alpine herdsmen deliver the milk from their cows grazing on the alps to the dairy. The milk is used to make tasty Schwägalp cheese as well as butter, Mutschli (cheese) and goat cheese.
