The idyllic Gasthaus Passhöhe restaurant is located at 1,285 meters above sea level. With its homely Appenzell charm, it is a popular meeting place on the Schwägalp pass all year round. Soak up the warm sunny rays out on the spacious terrace, or while away the hours in the rustic and cozy “Arvenstübli” Swiss pine lounge – both with waitstaff. In the kitchen, the Passhöhe team conjures up fresh, traditional specialties that are guaranteed to fill everyone up.

We can arrange to open the restaurant for groups of 20 people or more outside our regular opening hours.

Geniessen Sie die klassische Schweizer Küche mit regionalen und saisonalen Spezialitäten im heimeligen Gasthaus. The restaurant has a cozy dining room (seats 50) and the separate rustic “Arvenstübli” Swiss pine lounge (seats 25), plus a serviced sun deck that seats about 100 people.

The rooms are suitable for both individual guests and groups.
