Lantern trail
The Laternliweg will be illuminated from Thursday to Saturday from 28 November 2024 to 8 March 2025
On Friday and Saturday, the illuminated Laternliweg leads to the Gasthaus Passhöhe.
Lantern bar
The Laternlibar is generally open on Fridays and Saturdays from 5.00 to 8.00 pm.
Winter hiking trails | Sledging possibilities
The paths are prepared, but not in optimal condition due to the lack of snowfall. (13.01.2025)
The winter hiking route from Schwägalp to Steinfluh via the old Schwägalp road is ideal for a leisurely sledge ride.
Nach einer etwa 20-minütigen Wanderung auf dem Winterwanderweg zu den Alphütten von «Siebenhütten» können Kinder und Familien mit Schlitten und Bob eine gemütliche Schlittenabfahrt geniessen.

The Schwägalp restaurant is open daily and offers hot meals from 11.00 am to 9.00 pm.
Säntisgipfel restaurant
The restaurant is open during the Säntis cable car operating hours.

Our shop on the Schwägalp is open daily:
Monday through Friday: 10.00 am to 5.15 pm
Saturday, Sunday: 9:30 am to 5:15 pm
Opening hours depend on the weather and the cable car timetable.
Säntis cable car
19 November to 19 January 2025:
The railway operates daily from 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.
20 January to 7 February 2025::
Overhaul, railway operation is suspended. In good weather, the railway will be in operation at weekends.
