The most modern wastewater treatment plant in Switzerland
The two wastewater treatment plants on Säntis and Schwägalp were renovated. With modern bio-membranereactor wastewater treatment technology, suspended matter and bacteria-free wastewater can be «produced». The sewage treatment plant on Säntis corresponds to 400, the one on the Schwägalp to 1000 population equivalents.
