First Säntis summer ski race
The Säntis ski race, which was legendary in the Säntis history, was first organized in 1936 by the ski club Brülisau-Weissbad. A giant slalom with international participants led on the glacier «Grosser Schnee» down to the Chärren at the Meglisalp. On Sunday morning, the helpers went by post bus to Schwägalp, attended the early mass in the Capuchin Chapel and afterwards took the cable car to Säntis.
