Communication arrived
The Swiss Post-, Telephone- and Telegraph-Company (PTT) put the fi rst system for radio transmis-sion on Säntis into operation. Already one year later, the first television programme followed,
broadcasted from a mast with only 18 meters of height. Also, the multipurpose building on Säntis was expanded.
