On a fascinating guided tour, you will learn about the craft of cheese-making and find out more about the history of the alpine show dairy. Cheese has been produced on the Schwägalp for 30 years and you will discover how cheese-making has changed over time.
For a culinary piece of Schwägalp to take home with you, it is worth visiting the cheese shop. There you will find freshly produced specialities to take away. The Alpine show dairy can be visited individually or as part of a guided tour.
Our tip: visit the cheese dairy in the morning when the fresh alpine milk is being processed and the tempting smell of cheese wafts through the rooms.
