The interactive nature trail between Schwägalp and the top of the pass combines nature, exercise and fascinating facts in a fun way.
At twelve interactive stations, you’ll be guided by a wooden disc shaped and sized like a Schwägalp ‘Mutschli’. Along the roughly two-kilometre-long trail, the disc rolls through specially constructed channels and is put to use at various stations. Sometimes it calls for dexterity, sometimes powers of observation, and sometimes teamwork. You’ll be guided along the trail by ‘Sämi’, the young herdsman, who knows all sorts of fascinating facts about the animals, nature and life on the alp. Through play, children and adults alike discover why the Schwägalp is such a special natural environment and how people and nature have coexisted here for generations.
