Our sixty-eight comfortably furnished Rooms, Junior suites and suites invite you to enjoy a peaceful and restful night.
A place for you to unwind and treat all your senses, when you wake at our hotel, you’ll be greeted with spectacular views of the steep rocky face of Säntis or the idyllic Alpine pastures. The exclusive use of natural materials – such as oak wood – in the rooms ensures a relaxing environment and, in combination with the traditional design elements, creates a cozy-yet-modern ambience.
Standard double rooms
The standard rooms (25 square meters)2) look out over the Alpine pastures or the mountain side. They feature a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, which is in a closed room and has a partial window from the shower area to the room, and comfortable box-spring beds that will ensure you get a restful night’s sleep.
Superior double rooms
The spacious superior rooms (approx. 27–30 square meters)2look out over the Alpine pastures or the mountain side. They feature a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, which is in a closed room and has a partial window from the shower area to the room, and comfortable box-spring beds that will ensure you get a restful night’s sleep.
Girenspitz suites
The Girenspitz junior suites (area: 39 square meters)2face the Säntis and offer a direct view of the mountain from the sleeping area. The separate living space features a desk, seating and a TV. The bathroom is split into two rooms: the first with a bathtub, the second with a shower and a toilet. The comfortable box-spring beds from HAPPY (200 cm x 210 cm) will ensure you get a relaxed and restful night’s sleep. A connecting door to the adjacent superior room means you can add a second room, if you wish.
Weidwald Junior Suites (wheelchair accessible)
The Weidwald Junior Suites (37 m²) all look out over the Alpine pastures and offer a view so tranquil that you can feel the calmness washing over you. These rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet, which is wheelchair accessible. The living area is equipped with a desk and seating area as well as a television. The comfortable box-spring beds invite you to enjoy a restful night's sleep. A connecting door to the adjacent Superior Room allows you to add a second room.
Suites Säntis
Each with an area of 47 square meters,2 the three spacious Säntis suites are the largest rooms at «Säntis – the hotel». They offer views of the mountain side and the arena, home to the famous Schwägalp-Schwinget Swiss wrestling event. The suites feature an open sleeping and living space; two bathrooms, each with a shower and a bathtub; and comfortable box-spring beds that will ensure you get a relaxed and restful night’s sleep.
A break at our Weidwald Wellness Centre
Reward yourself after a long hike in our modern Weidwald wellness area at the Säntis – das Hotel. Take your time and unwind in the spacious relaxation room with views of the surrounding nature. Relax in the sauna, sweat it out in the wonderful steam bath, refresh yourself in the sensory showers or rest in the whirlpool.
Recharge your batteries and feel your body and mind come into harmony, while the unique view of the Säntis perfectly rounds off your wellness experience. From Monday to Thursday, our wellness area is also open for day wellness, the perfect opportunity for a relaxing break.
